Great Blogs and other sites I LOVE!

So now that I am obsessed with being on WW i have been searching the net for great recipe sites and sites that inspire me. Here are a few of my faves so far:

http://www.skinnytaste.com/  This is an awesome place for WW users. She has a lot of great recipes and photos to go with them.

http://www.laaloosh.com/  Just found this the other day. Haven't had a chance to really read thru it yet, but found a couple recipes to try.

http://www.hungry-girl.com/  You may have heard of this one on TV. It has a lot of great tips for swapping out the bad stuff for the good. I like to check her out on FB too!

http://www.healthdiscovery.net/restaurants/index.html  Here is an index of restaurants and their points for WW.

Looks like time to update the BLOG!!

Well, I see that I have been slacking on my blog, so I decided to give it a try again. Mia is almost 2 years old now. I look at the slide show from August 09 and she has changed sooo much. She is really growing up fast. She is getting so tall. Looks like she is almost in 3t pants! WOW!

Some more news......I have started Weight Watchers. This is my third week. Next weigh in is on Monday. So far I have lost 9lbs!! Thats just the first 2 weeks. I have really altered the way I eat. It has been an adjustment that is for sure. I have never eaten this many veggies before. I thought I would start blogging about my journey.

Mia got her cast off on December 21, 2009!! She is doing great. She is really active and loves playing with her toys. I took this pic while we waited to get her cast off at Children's Hospital.

 Mia fractured her leg on Nov 30, 2009

As you can see she adjusted quickly. She only has to wear a cast for 3 weeks.

She will get it off just in time for Christmas!

Unfortunately, the cast fell off her leg while sitting in her

high chair!!

So we had to go back and have a second cast put on.

This time they put a bend in the knee. Hope it stays on!

She enjoyed her moment without the cast on. She was in no pain.

She is a great patient. She had her leg up in the air.

I covered the ugly cast with a cute colorful sock.

The new cast hasn't slowed her down. She tried walking today.

She must be feeling stronger. Thats great!
