31lbs loss! It's been 12 weeks since I started WW.
Seeing the before pictures really makes it seem like I have lost some significant weight. Can't wait to see more results. I'm pretty excited. I wore a dress for the first time in over 3 years, and that was for a wedding.

Halloween 2010
Well, we ended up taking Mia to several churches in town who were having "Trunk or Treats". This is when people park their cars in the parking lot and open their trunks and decorate them. They pass out candy and some people have you play a game to get the candy. Some churches even have free food, like hot dogs, popcorn, carmel apples, nachos and drinks. Pretty cool actually. Saturday night we went to three churches and Sunday we went to three more churches. She came home with a LOT of candy. Of course I don't want her to eat any of it, but she has had a few pieces. I am not interested in it at all, which is good for me. Mia was the cutest witch I had ever seen. Everyone kept telling us how cute she was. She was saying "trick or treat" and "thanks". It was a good time overall. Here are some pics of our outing.

Mia's YO Gabba Gabba Birthday Party
Playing with Bubbles!
The Gabba Gang! I wrapped all the gifts to look like the characters. She loved it!
The Brobee cake I made! It was a half sheet cake 12x18. I made buttercream icing for the first time. Everyone said it was deelish.
Table decor and goodie bag look like the characters Plex and Muno
DJ Lance balloon. I used Fun Foam on all the decorations. She really loved the balloons.
Mia, opening her gifts. I made her tutu. I think it turned out really cute :)
Yo Gabba books and CD. We have already read the books a million times a day! Geesh.
Her rocking FISH. She loves to rock.
Eating cake!
Total weight loss since I began Weight Watchers:
Well, I have been on WW for 9 weeks and have lost a total of 23.6lbs!!! Very exciting for me. I am down to my pre-pregnancy weight now. Can't wait to lose more. So far I haven't struggled much. I haven't eaten at any fast food restaurants!! I have resisted all junk food and desserts including a cake I baked for my daughter's 2nd Birthday party. So I feel really successful. I think losing the next 20lbs will really motivate me. I can feel a difference in the way I move and in my daily activity, but I'm not seeing the change in my clothes too much even though I know I am losing inches too. I can't wait till I go down a size or two. I need to take my measurements soon to see what the difference is.
Healthy Choice Chicken Noodle Soup review:
I LOVE IT!!!! It's the best one I have had yet! As I have said previously, I'm not a huge canned soup fan and don't normally eat soup, but this is really good. It has a lot of chicken chunks in it, which are really tender. The entire microwaveable bowl is 3pts or 1pt for half the bowl. I eat this for lunch with a sandwich or salad.

Healthy Choice Cheese Tortellini Soup Review:
Well, I am not a fan of tomato based soups, so this was not a fave of mine. I ate all the tortellini though! lol
The soup had tomato pieces in it, so I ate around those. The broth wasn't too bad. Today I am going to try the Chicken Noodle soup. I hope it is decent because I am feeling hungry and that's all there is to eat here at work. Wish me luck. I will let you know how it tastes afterwards.

Review of Healthy Choice soup- Red Beans and Rice:
Well, I must say this was a LOT better than the Italian Wedding soup I ate last week. The flavor is pretty bold, although some hot sauce would've made it better. I would try this one again. Pretty hearty and satisfying along side a salad for lunch. 5.5pts for 2 cups (the entire bowl). So not bad overall. It comes in a microwave bowl which makes it easy. Can't wait to see what the next soup tastes like tomorrow. I believe it is Cheese Tortellini. I went to their website and they have quite a few choices that were not offered at my local Schnucks so I will have to shop around for those. I added the points up using the calcualtor on the WW site and good thing I did because although 1 cup= 2pts, 2 cups =5.5. So make sure you do the math before you count your points up.

Healthy Choice soup....Italian Style Wedding Review
Well, I was at Schnucks last night and I found some Healthy Choice Soups to take for lunch. Very low points. Either 1 or 2 pts for most of the types of soup. They come in a microwave ready bowl. I thought this would be great for the days when I don't feel like making my lunch. They had the Italian wedding soup, which I have had before at this place I use to work called The Bagel Tree. It was wonderful there. This soup on the other hand tasted nothing like it. It was pretty gross. I did not like it at all. The meatball were disgusting as I should have known. Almost like the ones they put in Chef Boyardee! lol Which my daughter always picks out of her Forkables. Even she doesn't like the canned "meatballs". Needless to say, I won't be eating that again. I hope the next soup is better. I also picked up Cheese Tortilini and Red beans and rice soup. I will let you know how those taste.

Obsessed with Healthy Ones Buffalo Chicken!!!
OK, so the heading says it all. I can't help myself. This stuff tastes soooo good. I thought I was a fan of the Healthy Ones Mesquite Chicken at the deli, but now that I have tasted the Buffalo version the Mesquite doesn't compare!!! OMG!!! and its only 1pt for 1oz. If you pile that on a small mini bagel or lite English muffin you have a great and fulfilling sandwich for 2pts!!! I like to add tomato and onion for more flavor, but that's just me. I could eat this for every meal and sometimes I do eat it several times a day. LOL. I just wish it was cheaper, now that I think of it, it cost more than a pound of hamburger. Geesh! I need to savor the flavor. SO.....the last 2 weigh- ins were a let down. I still lost but it wasn't enough for me to feel good about it. I have decided to switch from the meetings to the online version only. I think I will like this better. I am on the site so much already so I know I can do it without the lame WW leaders I have had to date. Just not what I was expecting out of a leader. Now I just need to buy a WW scale for WI days. I would also like to purchase an electronic food scale and have been looking online to see what is out there.

Looks like time to update the BLOG!!
Well, I see that I have been slacking on my blog, so I decided to give it a try again. Mia is almost 2 years old now. I look at the slide show from August 09 and she has changed sooo much. She is really growing up fast. She is getting so tall. Looks like she is almost in 3t pants! WOW!
Some more news......I have started Weight Watchers. This is my third week. Next weigh in is on Monday. So far I have lost 9lbs!! Thats just the first 2 weeks. I have really altered the way I eat. It has been an adjustment that is for sure. I have never eaten this many veggies before. I thought I would start blogging about my journey.
